Sharing this simple denim-on-denim look on the blog today :)
There’s so much you can do with denim. It’s one thing that is consistently in style and will never go out of style.
When my dad got to his 40’s he stopped wearing denim because he thought it wasn’t mature or professional, it was something the younger guys wore. I hope I never stop wearing denim and continue to rock ripped jeans even when I’m a granny!
Got this chambray from Old Navy, these overly ripped boyfriend jeans from Zara (one of my fav pairs), and paired it with these strappy block heeled sandals from Forever21.
Hope you like the look!

I’m sure you guys have all seen this shirt before, that poplin ruffle wrap shirt. Got mine from Shein for a killer deal, as always. One thing I must warn you about is that you have to be smart when shopping from Shein. When the deals are too good to be true, sometimes they are. To be safe whenever I pick up anything from Shein I always take a quick look at the product reviews and their style gallery to see what the actual garment looks like on people that have purchased it. If the garment looks good, you’re good to go. If there are no photos or reviews, be ready to be surprised!
I approve this top, lol, get yours here.
I’ve paired this poplin ruffle wrap shirt with a pair of ripped skinny jeans and these new tan mules from Aldo :)

Sharing a look from a super blogger brunch held by the fabulous Rebeca Ulch at the fabulous Lavelle in Toronto!
This venue is so classy, beautiful and stylish, filled with so many beautifully designed rooms for the perfect photo op. And did I mention the wallpaper! I am such a sucker for wallpaper and I think Lavelle has the prettiest floral wallpaper I’ve ever seen! I apologize for not sharing more photos of the actual venue, but I did however manage to capture my outfit!
I decided to go soft and pretty for this blogger brunch. I’m pairing a white choker blouse with light gray culottes and white block heel pumps. I am really digging culottes this year. I know they came out early last year, but for some reason I never took to them, but this year you’ll probably see me wearing a lot more of them.
And white shoes are back! I’ve always had a thing for white shoes. When they’re on trend they totally make your outfit, and when they’re not they can totally kill it, so I’m glad they’re back :)

Ruffles is just one of the many trends this spring and I love them! It’s like the rufflier the better! I’m not sure how long this trend will last, but it’s definitely not a timeless look, so in the mean time I’m going to wear as much of it as I can!
I fell in love with this top when I first saw it. The lime green satin ruffles just got me. I’m pairing it here with a pair of skinnies, but I also think this top would look cute with a pair of bell bottoms or dress pants.
What do you think?
